UC San Diego LEED Projects
New buildings and major renovations are designed and constructed following the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. As of July 2023, UC San Diego has completed 58 LEED-certified buildings and renovations on campus – 11 Platinum, 28 Gold, 16 Silver and 3 certified. LEED-equivalent projects were designed to meet LEED standards without pursuing official certification.
